The seasoned sports marketing and sports information executive has built a career in college athletics. Adams-Ginyard has more than 16 years of experience working to advance college athletics, including stints at Jackson State University, Hinds Community College and Alabama A&M University. Her career also includes corporate marketing experience with Ameristar Casino Hotel in Vicksburg.

In addition to her background in sports marketing, she also has experience in marketing and public relations. Adams-Ginyard served as an advertising executive for Ameristar Casino, in Vicksburg, MS. She has also worked as the public relations coordinator for Hinds Community College in Utica and at Jackson State, she served as the institution's assistant marketing manager and earlier, as the assistant sports information director.

In her free time, she likes to hike, cook, crochet and read fiction literature. She is a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc.

The former college track and field athlete is a graduate of Alabama A&M and is the proud mother to one daughter, Embree.



"I rented a moving truck, hitched my car behind it and I climbed into the cab with my then six-year-old daughter. I had walked away from seemingly everything that made me seem like an established and successful adult. But as the miles rolled along, all I could think about was how happy I was to be in the middle of rescuing myself."
