Landra R. Williams is a product of Pine Bluff, AR and an alumnus of both Jackson State University and the College of Southern Nevada. After many years in Las Vegas, Landra presently resides in Houston, Texas where she is an educator and the CEO and creative director of LRiliece Events, a boutique event planning and design company that specializes in bringing events to life with creativity, personality and style.

Landra accredits her passion for event styling to her grandfather, blues guitarist and legend, B.B. King. A milestone birthday party for him planted the seed of entrepreneurship. After several years of trying to fight the fascination of making everything aesthetically pleasing, LRiliece was launched in 2015. Since then, LRiliece Events has become a highly sought-after event styling company whose work has been shown and shared in elite publications.

In addition to event styling, Landra is an empowerment advocate and a firm believer in “Collaboration over Competition” which led her to launch a series of brunch panels focused on building collaborations between female entrepreneurs.

"I can look back now and know there was a long period of time I had spent knee-deep in undiagnosed depression, shattered from heartbreak. I thought that I was “strong enough” to overcome my brokenness."

"I filled my days with the robotic monotony of work and passed the nights in silence. When that became too much, and the feeling of not being fulfilled was too overwhelming, I left my job as a teacher to focus on building my business. I was searching for fulfillment."
