Okimo T. Williams is a Magee, Mississippi native who relocated to Gulfport, MS as a child. She is the oldest of three siblings and a mom to one who never ceases to amaze her and keep her on her toes.  She is a member of the Forrest Heights Missionary Baptist Church.

Okimo has a bachelor’s degree in social work from Jackson State University and a master’s of social work from Southern University at New Orleans. She is a credentialed advocate working with victims of domestic abuse and intimate partner sexual assault.
