Pamela Berry-Johnson is an award-winning communications expert with more than 20 years of experience in elevating, illuminating and inspiring by using dynamic strategies in the areas of journalism, public relations, marketing social media and branding.
In 2019, Pamela launched Yellow Rabbit PR & Marketing in Biloxi, MS. The full-service communications firm helps businesses, nonprofits, entrepreneurs and institutions of higher learning positively transform their outcomes using out-of-the-box thinking, planning and execution.
Previously, Pamela spent 15 years serving as the director of marketing and communications for two Mississippi nonprofits and two institutions of higher learning.
During the early years of her career, Pamela spent 14 years as an award-winning newspaper journalist, column-writer and editor with The Clarion-Ledger Newspaper, Mississippi’s largest daily newspaper in her hometown of Jackson, MS. She covered beats ranging from crime and courts to communities and government.
Pamela has a Bachelor of Arts degree in English (Journalism) from Jackson State University.
Pamela is married and has three children.
